Alaen Ledesma Fernandez was born and raised on the island of Cuba, in the city of Havana,
a professional trained in more than one country; art curator and cultural promoter, linked to the Cuban Arts.
As a teenager he studied ballet, dance and theater; and later he graduated in Dance and Classical Ballet at the
Higher Institute of Art of Cuba.
He is also a volunteer for the community since 2018, representing the role of nutcracker in the production of Nutcracker Ballet Key West.
With a degree in Economics and Foreign Trade, he became a Cultural Promoter, Curator and Manager of special events for Cuban Arts.
As a Cuban art specialist and advertising sales manager for the Latin American art magazine in South Florida Keys and Key West,
Secretary of the Cuban Diaspora Art Foundation.
He is the owner and creator of Studio Fine Cuban Art to Collect.
He has made Key West his home.

-Graduated in 1989 from the "San Alejandro" Academy of Plastic Arts.
-Professor of Drawing and Illustration, Costume Design and Set Design at the Higher Institute of Art in 2002, and of the Higher Institute of Industrial Design from 1995-1998, Havana, Cuba.
-Illustrator of several books for young people and children, including one he authored, as well as publications and magazines.
-Winner of the National Prize for Illustration "Raúl Martínez" year 2011.
-His work was chosen as the image of the XXXI International Festival of New Latin American Cinema
-Represented the Plastic Artists of Cuba and Latin America in the 4th Art Camp, Colors for the Planet, Organized by UNESCO in 2014, Principality of Andorra.
-His work was selected to be shown at the United Nations, NY, 2016.
He has made numerous personal and group exhibitions from 1988 to date, has participated in several Havana Biennials and in National and International Auctions, among other events related to art inside and outside the country.
-His works are in private collections as well as in Galleries and Museums in Austria, Monaco, Germany, the United Kingdom, South Africa, Russia, Portugal, the Basque Country, Brazil, Mexico, Guadeloupe, Venezuela, Spain, the United States, the United States, Costa Rica, Puerto Rico, Slovakia, Trinidad & Tobago, Panama, France and the Netherlands.
